_Traineeship in English and Work Readiness
Traineeship in English and Work Readiness (TEWR) is a part of the Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP). TEWR is designed to help learners prepare for joining the Australian workforce in their specialised fields.
The TEWR program offers:
- 100 hours of workplace communication & work preparation training
- 60 hours of work experience in an area related to your occupation
- vocational counselling and mentoring

To join the TEWR, you must:
- not have completed your AMEP study
- have a tertiary or trade qualification from your previous country
- have work experience in your field
- be able to speak English at CSWE III level
- be ready for work
- have a resume
