Rent an Apartment
If you want to rent your own apartment in Sydney or share with others, it is recommended to start looking after you arrive in Sydney. Sydney newspapers advertise “shared accommodation” and “apartments for rent”. There is also an accommodation noticeboard at ACL. Rents vary depending on where the apartment is located. The average price for a two-bedroom apartment located 15-20 minutes away from ACL by public transport is approximately A$250-A$400 per week.
