Course in Preliminary Spoken and Written English

The Preliminary Course in Spoken and Written English is aimed at students who have not been to school or have attended school for a short time. This course is helps students to begin learning in a formal way.

In this course the students will:

• learn how to study
• learn the English alphabet
• learn about numbers and how to use them in everyday life
• learn to recognise the symbols that are found in their environment

The topics for this course are chosen from everyday activities such as shopping, filling in forms, telling the time and conversations.
