Learning English with LLNP

The LLNP aims to:

  • assist jobseekers in finding suitable and sustainable employment
  • provide jobseekers with practical English language skills
  • help jobseekers in gaining vocational skills
  • enhance the jobseekers’ knowledge about the Australian workplace.

The LLNP is delivered in three streams: Initial, Basic and Advanced.

Clients with little or no previous education can learn English language to levels that are suitable for finding employment. Professionals who have previously undertaken higher education will be able to make transition to an Australian workplace by learning the language and terminology specific to their fields.

Learning in the LLNP

  • The LLNP is delivered in full and part-time classes
  • The LLNP is delivered in both day and evening classes
  • Evening classes are held over 3 days, 10 hours per week
  • Full-time students attend 20 hours of training per week
  • Part-time students have to attend a minimum 10 hours of training per week
