Basic Household Goods Package

When an entrant or entrant family has secured long-term accommodation, they may be entitled to a Basic Household Goods (BHG) Package. The package is supplied by the Brotherhood of St Laurence. The contents provided to each family is based on an assessment of the family's needs.

Once an entrant or entrant family is ready to receive their package, they need to contact their Case Manager to request their package and Navitas English will carry out a needs assessment if required. If an entrant or entrant family already has a particular item, they will not be provided with the same item in their BHG package.

It is important to note that the BHG package is a basic package and is intended to help entrants start their lives in Australia. All electronic goods are covered by a standard warranty for a period of twelve months. The warranty is managed by the Brotherhood of St Laurence.
