About ACL

ACL is the largest private provider of English language education in Australia and a leader in the development of English language teaching resources and support services. Annually ACL delivers high-quality language teaching to more than 18,000 students within Australia.

ACL also delivers English language training, resources and services to a rapidly growing number of individuals and organisations in the expanding global market for English language training.

  • Education export focus: Since it was established in 1987 ACL has been a leader in the Australian education export industry, conducting English language courses for international students. A large proportion of these students complete specialised ACL courses in English for Academic Purposes, in preparation for further studies in Australian universities. Other students combine more general-purpose English language study with tourism or working holidays in Australia.
